We strive to provide high-quality gardening products, resources, and services. However, we understand that sometimes a return or refund may be necessary. Please read this policy carefully to understand your options.
Important Note: Living plants, seeds, and certain perishable items have special return conditions outlined in Section 3 of this policy.
To be eligible for a return or refund, please ensure:
- Your request is made within the timeframe specified in this policy
- You have proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or confirmation email)
- The item is in its original condition, unless the return is due to a defect or damage
- All original packaging is included when applicable
2. Digital Products and Subscriptions
2.1 E-books, Guides, and Downloadable Content
Due to the nature of digital products, we generally do not offer refunds on downloadable content such as e-books, garden planners, or guides once they have been downloaded. However, if you experience technical difficulties accessing your purchase or if the content is fundamentally different from what was advertised, please contact us within 7 days of purchase.
2.2 Online Courses and Webinars
For online gardening courses and webinars:
- Pre-recorded courses: You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if you have completed less than 25% of the course content.
- Live webinars: You may request a refund up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time. No refunds will be issued after this point, but you may transfer your registration to another person or apply it to a future webinar (subject to availability).
2.3 Newsletter and Membership Subscriptions
For paid newsletter subscriptions or membership programs:
- Monthly subscriptions: You can cancel at any time, and no further charges will be made. We do not issue partial refunds for unused portions of the current billing period.
- Annual subscriptions: You may request a prorated refund within the first 30 days of your subscription. After 30 days, no refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription period.
3. Physical Products
3.1 Gardening Tools and Equipment
For non-perishable garden tools, equipment, and accessories:
- You may return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
- If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receipt, including photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at our expense.
3.2 Living Plants, Seeds, and Perishable Items
Due to the perishable nature of plants and seeds:
- We cannot accept returns of living plants, seeds, bulbs, or other perishable garden items unless they arrive damaged or dead.
- If plants arrive in poor condition, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs documenting the condition.
- We offer a 14-day plant health guarantee on all plants. If a plant dies within 14 days of delivery despite proper care, we will issue a replacement or store credit.
- Seasonal plants and specific varieties may have modified guarantees, which will be noted on the product page.
Plant Care Requirement: Our plant health guarantee is valid only if basic care instructions were followed. We may ask for information about your care routine when processing a claim.
3.3 Books and Printed Materials
For gardening books, magazines, and printed materials:
- You may return these items in new, unread condition within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
- Items showing signs of use or damage may be eligible for a partial refund at our discretion.
4. Services
4.1 Garden Consultations and Design Services
For our virtual or in-person gardening consultation services:
- You may cancel a scheduled consultation with at least 48 hours' notice for a full refund.
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may be rescheduled but are not eligible for a refund.
- No-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
- If you are dissatisfied with a completed consultation, please contact us within 7 days to discuss your concerns.
4.2 Workshops and Events
For gardening workshops and events:
- You may request a full refund up to 7 days before the scheduled event.
- Cancellations within 7 days of the event are eligible for a 50% refund or the option to transfer to another workshop (subject to availability).
- If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.
5. Refund Process
5.1 How to Request a Refund
To initiate a return or request a refund:

- For physical products, we will provide return instructions including the return address.

- Digital product and service refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days.
- For physical products, refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
- The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional 2-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
6. Exchanges
We are happy to exchange items when available:
- For size or color exchanges of eligible products, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
- If the desired exchange item is of higher value, you will need to pay the difference.
- If the exchange item is of lower value, we will refund the difference.
- Exchange availability is subject to current stock levels.
7. Gift Returns
For items received as gifts:
- Gift recipients may return eligible items following the same conditions outlined above.
- Without a receipt, we can offer store credit at the current selling price of the item.
- With proof of purchase, we can issue a refund to the original purchaser or provide store credit to the recipient.

9. Promotional Items and Free Gifts
For orders that included promotional items or free gifts:
- If you return an item that qualified you for a free gift or promotional item, you must also return the promotional item in unused condition.
- If the promotional item is not returned or is used, we may deduct its value from your refund.
